Nursery – We provide nursery care for infants through 3 years of age.  The nursery is available for all services and special events in the Education Building.

Sunday School – Sunday School is scheduled at 9:30 AM and 11:00 AM for children ages 4-5th grade.  The program offers a mixture of Bible stories, songs, crafts, activities, and games designed to develop and expand the children’s experience in Christian education.

Children’s Church – This exciting worship and Bible time takes place at 11:00 AM on Sunday mornings.  It includes a variety of aspects such as worship, drama, games, activities, and Bible time.  On the third Sunday of each month, we attend Children’s Parable beforehand in the Sanctuary.  You can find our Children’s Church in room 3110 in the Education Building.

Wonderful Wednesdays – This special after-school program takes place on Wednesday afternoons from 2:00 – 5:00 PM during the school year.  The program includes snack time, free time, Bible lesson and worship, and class time.  Each term, children choose three (3) half hour long classes such as wood working, cooking, arts and crafts, photography, outdoor games, sign language, etc.  At the end of each term there is a Parent Program where the children show their parents what they made or learned during that term.  Wonderful Wednesdays usually begins at the end of September and goes through the end of April.

Tutoring – During the school year, CUMC partners with Fruitland Park Elementary School to tutor students in need of extra help with their school work.  Tutors work with students one-on-one throughout the year, helping them with reading and math skills.  Tutoring takes place every Wednesday from 2:00 – 3:15 PM.

Children’s Musical – Every year, the Children and Music Ministries put on two musical productions, one at Christmas and one in the Spring.  Children rehearse for these productions on Wednesday evenings from 6:00 – 7:15 PM.

Boy and Girl Scouts – Our church proudly offers the use of our facilities to these groups.  The Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts meet on Monday nights at 7:00 pm and the Cub Scouts meet on Tuesday nights at 7:00 pm.
