Community United Methodist Church Of Fruitland Park, FL.
is a fully diversified church with traditional family values that have something to offer for everyone in the community. From Pre-Schoolers to Seniors we offer activities, guidance and assistance to whoever may want or need it.
Our pre-school program is second to none for the quality of care and learning that children need to prepare for the stress of entering the educational curriculum. We provide a mixture a fun, games, and social training that make learning a joy for children at an age that should be enjoyed to the fullest. CUMC provides a state of the art playground, an exceptional library of children's books, toys, educational materials and most importantly, a truly dedicated and caring staff.
Our Wonderful Wednesday program is oriented toward the elementary grade level. It is an exceptional after school program that provides activities, projects, goals and programs to stimulate young minds to explore their potential while learning basic vocational, math and science skills.
The Vacation Bible School is our shining star for the youth as we go all out to provide basic christian education with skits and music to excite young minds as to the balance of youthful enjoyment with traditional bible school values.
Our youth progams for the Jr. High and High School age levels include music, arts, games, activities, sports, and field trips. They are included in all church activities and treated as equals with regards to duties and responsibilities. They have always responded with dedication and a sense of purpose that always exicites and motivates their peers with a spirit of joy for the Lord and the Church. The youth participate in a Contemporary Sunday 9:30 service that is truly a celebration of joy, music and a love of the Lord that is enjoyed by all ages.
Our adult programs and activities encompass a multitude of various hobbies, skill sharing, and support groups that cover all manners of intrests, social sharing, aid and assistance. We have singles programs, dance groups, an AA program, single parents meetings, widower support groups, Bible study classes, sewing groups, arts and crafts sharing, choir, prayer groups, outreach programs, and many volunteer organizations that not only aid the community, but provide a sense of purpose and fulfillment.
As you browse thru this website, we have done our best to explain who and what we are. However, the only true way to discover what CUMC is about is to meet us. You will realize that we are a family and children of God, with a purpose and love for each other and and our surrounding communities.
