WOMEN OF FAITH WEEKEND

A 2-day event where you will laugh, cry and realize that you are not alone. “A Grand New Day” is the theme for 2009 as we travel to Ft. Lauderdale’s Bank Atlantic Center for the November 20-21 conference. Because of the distance, we will leave the Church on Thursday, November 19th, stay 3 nights in the Holiday Express Plantation and return on Sunday, November 22nd. The full conference price is $100 per person which includes all day Friday and Saturday tickets and two lunches. Hotel payments will be collected in the fall. The price is $103 per night for a single or $51.50 per night for doubles (full, hot breakfast buffet included). There is worship, hilarious and relevant messages and drama. Covered Dish Dinner

: The Church will honor Bill Bowers upon his retirement as Church Treasuer. There will be a covered dish dinner on Sunday , July 12th in the Family Life Center, following the 11:00 Service.Come and bring your favorite covered dish and celebrate with Bill.

Church Office Mail

There is no longer a "mail slot" in the Church office door. The Church Offiice now has a mailbox. It is with the other mailboxes on the wall in the hall across from the Choir Room It is in the bottom right hand corner marked as "Church Office"

SPRING TIME GOLF LESSONS

One of our members is offering FREE expert golf instructions on an individual basis, regardless of handicap. No group teachings because you just don’t learn enough from it. No cost to you, with no follow-up costs or angles, just like to help golfers of all handicaps to improve their game. If interested, call John Burnett at (352) 347-4235 for details

The Life Enrichment Center, the United Methodist adult retreat center on Picciola Road, has a need for a part-time person to mow for the summer months. Must be 18 or older. 15-20 hours a week. Willing to learn or has experience with riding mowers, trimmers, and other lawn care equipment. Contact Jess at 787-0313 if interested.
